Contextual Backlinks – Nothing Beats Quality Relevant In Content Links
By Matthew Anton of BackLinksVault
As search engines improve their algorithms it’s very important to not only stay current with trends, but also embrace less volatile link building solutions to increase search engine ranking positions for the long haul. For this reason, many webmasters want to obtain contextual backlinks – which are links embedded within a block of text, often appearing within a blog post or article. We will go over the various methods of obtaining these high quality links, and ways you can begin doing this for free or paid (if a budget) today. Write-up provided by http://backlinksvault.com – link building service. Why Contextual Backlinks -Aren’t all backlinks the same? Short answer, no. The search engine spiders know exactly where on a page a link exists, the content around it, and its relative relevancy. This means not only does it see your backlink, it knows if the content is related to your backlink based on the anchor text used. As webmasters we must remember that a backlink is a “vote” for a website, and these usually take place in an editorial/blog setup where a review surrounds a link. Search Engines know these type of links pass editorial standards and are therefore more relevant, and meaningful (after all a webmaster stopped what he/she was talking about to link to the website). This is in sharp contrast to sitewide links, such as header, footer or blogroll, where a link exists on every page, regardless of content and explicit intent of a “vote” with very little content surrounding the link. Best Methods to Obtain Contextual Backlinks The two vehicles we will want to focus on are blogs and article directories. They are very similar but article sites tend to be moderated, whereas blog networks are more free for all, do as you please. For this reason you should start building your own personal blog network on free blog hosting platforms, often called web 2.0 properties. Examples are wordpress, blogger, livejournal, and others (google “create free blog” for more). The lines can be blurred with websites such as squidoo, and hubpages but it’s important to note they will delete non unique content on occasion and could possibly ban your account. Keep your blog content and article quality content separate. After you sign up to these web 2.0 websites, you can now post your content to them. If you have a website in the weight loss niche for example you can write about how to specifically lose weight without dieting with three backlinks within the text linking back to your main website. You can use more than 3 links, but best practices show most use three per 500 words. If you do not wish to write 50 articles for all your web 2.0 properties, you can always outsource the content writing to freelancers. Once you receive the articles you can simply submit them and add your contextual backlinks as you see fit. Moving on to article directories… With the free blog hosting sites utilized you will want to move on to the more stringent, moderated method of article directories. Typically these websites all require 100% unique, well-written, excellent grammar posts. Examples are qondio, ezinearticles, buzzle, squidoo, hubpages, and goarticles. Ok, I submitted to all the web 2.0 properties and article directories, but I want more Contextual Backlinks! That’s the spirit! You are either pumping out content like a mad man or you have chosen to outsource if you have reached this point. Private networks exist, much like the public blogs and article directories, but membership is limited and subscription based. Two examples are BuildMyRank, and LinkVana. These networks all require 100% unique, error free content. The advantage here is they have over 1000 hosted blogs across various ip addresses – translation – you will have pretty much an endless supply of contextual backlinks if you can provide the content. This of course can get very time consuming and/or expensive. Another alternative is to stretch the life of your content by leveraging other private networks, that allow repurposed, or “spun content”. This is content where synonyms are replaced to appear more “unique”. The Best Spinner is the ideal solution for this. Second tier private directories such as Linkamotion, Article Ranks, Automatic Backlink Creator, SEO Link Vine, Article Robot, My Article Network, and Authority Link Network are great options to syndicate out your content across their network. Indexing, where Google “sees” your backlink can be difficult on these networks because of the volume and lack of uniqueness to the articles, but paired up with BacklinksIndexer many of them are increasing their ROI for customers. Contextual Backlinks with actual Page Rank – final frontier of your link building quest… Some very smart webmasters realized they could buy expiring, or older, trusted domains from private sellers and registrars such as Godaddy, and then embed their links within relevant content. These are vastly different from “normal” contextual backlinks, because these often exist on pages with actual pagerank, usually 1-7. Terry Kyle is credited with creating innovative solutions such as Homepage Contextual Backlinks, and now other webmasters are providing the service based on his teachings. This guide has shown you why in content links are more valued to the search engines, they are prone to less volatility, and methods to obtain them for free, or paid through private networks. You can either write your own content, or outsource the process. If you would like to utilize the power of contextual backlinks but don’t want to register to blogs or worry about content writing or dealing with freelancers check out http://backlinksvault.com/homepage-contextual-backlinks/ for 100 of the most diverse Pagerank 4,5,and 6’s.
